A new type of networking website will be available soon at COS that will build connections between students, career professionals, and businesses in and around our community. The College of the Sequoias Art Department is holding their Annual Student Art Exhibition in the COS Art Gallery located in the Kaweah building, room 214. They commenced with their opening ceremony on April 22nd and the exhibition will continue through May 9th.… Post the First Comment

Years of waiting will come to an end in December 2008 when construction crews break ground for the new 20,525 square foot gym, a $14,469,000 state funded project. Funding has been allocated from prop 1D, a state level bond that voters approved in 2006, according to Eric Mittlestead Dean of facilities and planning at COS.… Post the First Comment

The Campus Newspaper will be shutting down operations for the Spring 2008 semester. Operations will not be restarted until the semester of Fall 2008. Anything submitted to The Campus will not be received until August. I awoke last Sunday morning to a sad story of an American soldier harassed and threatened by fellow soldiers, including his commanding officers. You might assume the soldier is gay, you would be wrong. This has been by far the most satisfying semester I have had at COS; and that is in large part due to the students who staff COS' The Campus newspaper. I have enjoyed my time as the opinion editor for the paper; I believe I have found my calling.
