COS students can enjoy a weekend of music not likely found in the central valley at the Bamboozle Left Music Festival.
The festival will be taking place on March 27 and 28 in Anaheim at the Angels Stadium.
The Bamboozle Left is the west coast Bamboozle festival, set aside from the east coast Bamboozle festival called Bamboozle Right.
The two-day festival showcases bands of different genres and tastes. It also gives alternative music listeners an opportunity to hear music they may not have discovered through the mainstream media. Throughout the two-day festival, people have the opportunity to experience indie, hardcore, pop-punk, metal, alternative hip-hop, and experimental mixture of genres.
The day one line-up is filled with various artists that scatter across the board. The headlining band is alternative rockers AFI. Post-hardcore giant Chiodos will be showing off their new lead singer. Experimental indie rockers such as Circa Survive, Bouncing Souls, and Jonny Craig will also be showcased. Bands such as Say Anything, Angels and Airwaves show a mixture of different genres put together.
If you have a taste for something heavier, day one will feature heavier acts such as Christian metal act For Today, and heavier acts Impending Doom, Molotov Solution, and The Briggs.
Day one are also showing bands: Dance Gavin Dance, Envy on the Coast, Pierce the Veil, Fall of Troy on their farewell tour, and many more bands.
Day two will start where day one left off. Headlining will be Something Corporate. Following them is explosively live alternative rockers Story of the Year.
Day two is also showing up and coming folk acoustic indie artist Never Shout Never. Pop-punk bands will be heavily shown during the day. Pop-Punk bands The Maine, Girl fronted Hey Monday, The Ready Set, and The Summer Set will be rolling through. Other bands featured on day two will be: Piebald, Iyaz, Anarbor, Bobby Long, Dirt Nasty, We Shot the Moon, He is We, Call the Cops, Cold Flamez, Far East Movement, and many more.
Tickets for the two-day festival start at $45 for one day or $82 for two days. You can buy them at any Ticketmaster outlet, Angels Stadium Box Office or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000.
