The COS Puente program has put together a Cinco De Mayo  5k run and 2k walk held  at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 5,  located at the COS track here in Visalia.

The proceeds support Puente Project scholarships which is a national award winning transfer program that help thousands of students reach college success.

Pre-online registration is $20.00 up until May 3rd, to do so you can go to cospuente.org or active.com.

Walk in pre-registration is $25.00 Thursday May 3, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m at the COS quad and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at SolezSoul ( 4241 S. Mooney Blvd.) Friday May 4th, 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. at the COS quad.  On the spot race day registration is $30.00. Scholarship winner will be announced on May 10.
